Joke for the day

A Mother had three virgin daughters. They were all getting married within a short time period. Because Mom was a bit worried about how their sex life would get started, she made them all promise to send a postcard from the honeymoon with a few words on how marital sex felt. The first girl sent a card from Hawaii two days after the wedding. The card said nothing but: “Nescafe”! Mom was puzzled at first, but then went to her kitchen and got out the Nescafe jar. It said: “Good till the last drop”. Mom blushed, but was pleased for her daughter. The second girl sent the card from Vermont a week after the wedding, and the card read: “Rothmans”. Mom now knew to go straight to her husband’s cigarettes, and she read from the pack: “Extra Long. King Size” She was again slightly embarrassed but still happy for her daughter. The third girl left for her honeymoon in Cape Town. Mom waited for a week, nothing. Another week went by and still nothing. Then after a whole month, a card finally arrived. Written on it with shaky handwriting were the words “South African Airways” Mom took out her latest YOU magazine, flipped through the pages fearing the worst, and finally found the ad for SAA. The ad said: “Ten times a day, seven days a week, both ways.” Mom fainted!

Why We Hate Roaches

We always have this weird hate to cockroaches. We hate it so much that we employ various ways just to eradicate them. In fact, most people would kill a cockroach without a second thought! In the midst of our battle against cockroaches, we have to understand why most people hate cockroaches?

We hate cockroaches because these little red, brown and black critters are incredibly gross and terrifying. Yes, cockroaches are 6-legged terrors, especially when they fly. Furthermore, they are harbinger of sicknesses. They bring bacteria that can cause leprosy, dysentery, diarrhea, infections, inflammations, gastroenteritis, typhoid and more. Furthermore, cockroaches have been found to acquire and carry certain various including hepatitis virus. Worst of all, cockroaches prefer to live in our kitchens.

Why would cockroaches insist on living beside us? Well, there’s a long history between cockroaches and our early ancestors. Roaches have always lived, adapted and evolved alongside large mammals (early humans included) and have gained continuous access to various food source like food scraps, mildew, mold as well as eggs of other mammalian parasites like fleas, ticks, lice and bed bugs. While most mammals aren’t bothered of having these bugs as neighbors, we humans have grown to dislike these bugs as centuries go by.

We hate cockroaches because they are filthy. They are filthy because they live on dark, damp and moldy places. They live in the sewers. They live beneath decomposing things. They live in trash heaps. They leave on human and animal waste. They live on anything that is filthy. Although research shows cockroaches would often groom to get rid of contaminants, the fact that they step on anything filthy would still make us squirm when we see a roach scuttling over our sandwich.

So how would we get rid of this filthy bus? Well, my solution for this is Pest Control. It would be the best way to remove these hated creatures out of my home.

Web Content Is Important

In SEO, web content has always been one of the most important factor in making websites noticeable. And I believe, this will remain important for many, many more years. Web content is what makes people find a website. The information they have is what makes them land there.

When we put a specific keyword or phrase like for example “best cup cake recipes”, the search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing will use their algorithm to scan the net for websites that are relevant to the keyword or phrases the person has used. More specifically, they would look for sites that contain these keywords or phrases, this would include the links, meta tags and other things related to SEO. The more relevant the website is, the higher would be its ranking.

Because most internet users would never search past the first two pages of search engine results for their queries, it is then very important to make a quality content for SEO.

Working In The Field of SEO

Do you know what does SEO mean?

Do you know what the purpose of SEO is?

Or have you even heard about this term in your entire life?

SEO means SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION and its purpose is to optimize websites and give them higher ranks in Google, Yahoo, Bing and other search engines. And it has been more or less 3 years since I first heard about SEO.I-know-SEO

Actually, I learned about SEO because of my work. My friend asked me to work for him as a writer and wrote various things for him. To be honest, I never knew what he will do with the written content he asked me to make. I just wrote and wrote and submit them when they are needed. After sometime and gaining his trust, he told me about the nature of our work and the business we were in. We were a start-up SEO company and the very first service we offered was providing content for websites and other online marketers.

Slowly and surely, I got to learn more about SEO. Moreover, my responsibilities and workload gradually changed, though most of my work still involve writing various stuff, which is actually kind of fun and rewarding since I get to learn many things while I continue to write.

Now, the company I am working for is doing great. We have more workers and it has become more fun and enjoyable every day. Yes, there are times when we become too tired and engrossed in our work but that’s what being an adult is all about right. At least, we are working in an industry many people are not aware of and I am extremely PROUD of it.
